About Me

I'm Rohan, a Associate Software Engineer at Contentstack, based in Pune. I work on Launch, a platform where our customers deploy and host their web apps end-to-end. Most of what I do there is backend — the services, data flows, and infrastructure that have to keep holding up as a product grows in traffic and complexity.

What draws me to that kind of work is the constraint underneath it: a system already has people depending on it, so the interesting problems are less about building the right thing from a blank page and more about changing its shape without breaking what's already relying on it. Making something efficient, reliable, and maintainable all at once, when those three tend to pull against each other.

I'd call myself an avid learner — outside of work that means reading up on personal finance and markets, and generally poking at whatever else catches my interest that week. Still very much in the learning-in-public phase, and happy to stay there.

• Competitive Programming — Rated Specialist (1450+) on Codeforces, Knight (1940+) on LeetCode — top 3.5% of coders globally — and 4-star (1800+) on CodeChef, built through consistent timed-contest practice.
• Smart India Hackathon 2024 — Finalist at SIH 2024, building a solution for DRDO to address a real-world problem statement.
• Cavista Hackathon 2025 — Finalist at Cavista Hackathon 2025, building a practical tech solution for an industry problem.
• CODESPRINT — Won CODESPRINT, a coding competition run by CodeChef MITAOE.
• WCPC — Placed 11th out of 250+ teams at WCPC, an ICPC-style contest organized by WCE Sangli.
